Crispy and flavorful, these Air Fryer Stuffed Pickles are a perfect savory snack or appetizer. Pickles are hollowed out and stuffed with a creamy mixture of cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and shredded cheddar cheese, then air fried to golden, melty perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
Filling
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Pickles
- 12 whole dill pickles
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended.
- Hollow out the pickles: Slice each pickle in half lengthwise. Using a small spoon or melon baller, carefully scoop out the centers of each pickle half, creating a cavity for the filling while leaving a sturdy shell.
- Stuff the pickles: Fill each hollowed-out pickle half generously with the cream cheese mixture, pressing it firmly inside to ensure it holds well during cooking.
- Air fry: Arrange the stuffed pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 8 minutes, or until the cheese filling is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden on top.
Notes
- Use firm dill pickles to prevent them from becoming too soggy during air frying.
- For extra crunch, consider dipping the stuffed pickles in breadcrumbs before air frying.
- Experiment with different seasoning blends or add cooked bacon bits to the cream cheese mixture for added flavor.
- Serve immediately for best texture—crispy on the outside with warm, melty filling inside.
