Ingredients
Scale
Cauliflower Bites
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Optional Garnish and Dipping Sauce
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Marinara or ranch sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
- Mix Coating: In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper thoroughly to create a flavorful coating mixture.
- Coat Cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the beaten eggs, then thoroughly coat it in the Parmesan-flour seasoning mixture, making sure each piece is well covered.
- Arrange and Drizzle: Place the coated cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer to allow even baking and crispiness. Drizzle lightly with olive oil over the florets.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping the florets halfway through the cooking time to ensure they become golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve the cauliflower bites warm with marinara or ranch sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, substitute panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese instead of all-purpose flour.
- These cauliflower bites can also be cooked in an air fryer at 400°F for 15–20 minutes for a lighter, crispier version.
