Description

Crispy and cheesy Parmesan Cauliflower Bites that make a perfect appetizer or snack. These baked cauliflower florets are coated in a flavorful mixture of Parmesan, garlic, and spices, then roasted to golden perfection. Serve warm with marinara or ranch dipping sauce for a delicious and healthy treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Cauliflower Bites

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Optional Garnish and Dipping Sauce

  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Marinara or ranch sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
  2. Mix Coating: In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper thoroughly to create a flavorful coating mixture.
  3. Coat Cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the beaten eggs, then thoroughly coat it in the Parmesan-flour seasoning mixture, making sure each piece is well covered.
  4. Arrange and Drizzle: Place the coated cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer to allow even baking and crispiness. Drizzle lightly with olive oil over the florets.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping the florets halfway through the cooking time to ensure they become golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve the cauliflower bites warm with marinara or ranch sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, substitute panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese instead of all-purpose flour.
  • These cauliflower bites can also be cooked in an air fryer at 400°F for 15–20 minutes for a lighter, crispier version.
